I became a photographer the moment I had children. As they continued to change everyday, I so desperately wished I could slow things down – for their hands to be that small for just a little longer, for them to crawl all over me, once more. The way photographs are able to pause time, allowing you to revisit a memory from the past and all that comes with it, is why I do what I do – it’s why most photographers do what they do. Whether it’s the young love you have for your partner while it’s just the two of you, or it’s the experiences you’re creating for your children, life’s about finding beauty in the present, because the present will soon be the past and these moments will soon become distant memories.

my philosophy
Allowing someone into your world and for them to witness your heart is extremely vulnerable, and I will never take this lightly. As a photographer, I'm here to celebrate your version of love and connection with a heart-centred, documentary-style approach to photography.
What does this mean for you? I won't tell you how to stand, when to kiss, or who should help you get dressed. I won't tell you who to be or how to be. We experience this enough in life. Your session will feel easy and natural, and your photos will reflect those moments that are real and meaningful to you.
My goal in life is to birng a little more joy, kindness, amd understanding to everyone I cross paths with, and that includes you.
Along with identifying as queer, mom, introvert, and lover of red wine, here are some of my favourite things that exist in this world.
Meditation, re-watching friends at least once if not 10 times a year, deep conversations, the hum when the world is quiet, walking barefoot on a mossy path in the forest, hammocks, mother/son dances, beautiful light, stillness, loving awareness, outside the box thinkers and doers, people who stand for something greater than themselves, mother earth, humans that can honour the vast spectrum of emotions, a freshly made bed, funny cat and dog reels, belly laughs, warm fires, Creator/Divine/ Universe/ Spirit/ Higher Power/ God, the feeling of loneliness, rocking chairs, a book that never seems to end, getting to know a new person, authentic exchanges of unconditional love between strangers... I could go on!
That’s a little bit about me. No matter who and where we are, we’re all souls wandering this beautiful earth, with a different story to share. No tale is one and the same. And that’s why I love documenting love stories!
I am the girl who will rarely be seen with shoes on, will cry during speeches and knows the words to too many songs.
