Documenting your wedding day is so much more than me just being a fly on the wall. It's having the opportunity to witness real life moments unraveling in front of me, and turning those moments into meaningful imagery - into art, that will be cherished for generations to come.
Photographs are gifts for reconnection - to reconnect to a moment that has passed. This is why I choose to approach a wedding day through the lens of documentary photography, I value being present for what is in front of me and not stripping away the authenticity of a moment so that when you look back on your day, you can not only remember but reconnect to the feeling of the moment.
