Island Roots Flower Farm – Mindemoya, Ontario
Cassie and Nassim’s Manitoulin Island engagement session was document at Island Roots Flower Farm in Mindemoya. It was the perfect back drop for the session as the farm is a special place for them. The sunset was *muah* and Romeo, their fur baby stole the show!
Before we met up for the session, I had Cassie and Nassim fill out a questionnaire to give me more details about who they are, how they love and how they receive love. They also provided me with inspiration for a custom playlist for their session, including songs that
Like all of my couples sessions, we followed a journey that starts off fast and ends slow. A couple session or engagement session follows an embodiment practice inspired flow, first moving the body, releasing any old stagnant energies and creating connection with one another through laughter, movement, games and silliness. It’s like child’s play. Letting go of control and allowing for the innocence we once experienced to flow.
As the music slows, the journey takes clients to a place of stillness; connecting breathing and bodies with cuddles, sweet words and memories.
The whole session is inspired by connection, not replaying someone else’s love story.
I will never tell you when to kiss, how to stand or who to be but I will place you in pretty light, suggest prompts to encourage connection and allow your love to guide us.
Your job is to let go, and flow with the journey.
