I met up with Jordan and Jessi at one of my favourite spots for maternity photos, Fielding Park in Livey. This place has it all, water, forest, walking paths, open fields and beautiful lighting at all times of the day. Fall is my favourite time of year. The weather is so beautiful. Perfect and beautiful! It was one of those beautiful fall days, and with halloween just around the corner it only made sense to to bring a pumpkin! Jessi and Jordan were one of the most easy going couples I have worked with. Our personalities just meshed and it made the entire session amazing! We also had a surprise visitor!

Although maternity images can be over looked so often as not important, they is a true glow that expecting moms have that dulls after pregnancy. Yes you will have newborn images done and will have a family photo done then but the maternity session is about more than the family photo. It’s about capturing the love between you and your partner. It’s about having images for you child to look back on and say ‘woah, my parents loved each other so much when they brought me into the world.’ It’s about capturing a mother to be’s connection with her baby, even before they have met and the love you have for her watching her grow your child inside of her. It’s about you both, and the life you are bringing into the world. They are images that not only you will cherish but one day your child will cherish as well.
